Excellent work Niamh. For a first attempt at editing this is hugelly promising and shows a natural understanding of the power and impact of editing. Your use of music and sound is really effective and you have shown you can strike a balance between the music and the dialogue in the news reports which is quite hard to do.
The next step now is to use intercutting to break up the speech by David Cameron i.e. have some shots of the things he is talking about as his speech. For example when he talks about 'attacks on the police', try to match cut that with shots of the police being attacked.
